[Multi-culture News] LG Global School supports 400 students from multicultural families in language education and overseas training

LG Global School announced that it will recruit new students for '2022 Multicultural School(written as 2022 다문화학교 in Korean)', a program that helps children of multicultural families adapt to Korean society and grow into global citizens.

Selected participants can receive a variety of support through programs such as language education, global citizenship education, science education, overseas training, volunteer work, and career counseling.

Any child of a multicultural family whose parents have foreign nationality, a child of a naturalized or expected naturalized person, or a student born abroad but living in Korea can participate in the program. Students who have previously participated in the program may reapply. LG Global School plans to select a total of 400 students, including 350 elementary school students and 50 middle school students.

Applicants who wish to participate can access the LG Global School website(https://lgglobalschool.co.kr/ko), register as a member, log in, click the Apply Application button, and submit an application form and self-introduction letter.

The training is conducted online to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

[다문화뉴스] LG다문화학교 신입생 모집...언어 교육, 해외 연수 등 지원

LG다문화학교(LG Global School)가 다문화가정 자녀가 한국 사회에 적응하고 세계시민으로 성장할 수 있도록 돕는 프로그램인 '2022 다문화학교'의 신입생을 모집한다.

선발된 참가자들은 언어교육과 세계시민 교육, 과학교육, 해외연수, 봉사활동, 진로·진학 상담 등의 프로그램을 통해 다양한 지원을 받을 수 있다.

부모 중 한 명이 외국 국적을 가진 다문화가정의 자녀, 귀화자 또는 귀화 예정자의 자녀, 해외에서 태어났으나 한국에 입국해 거주하고 있는 학생이라면 누구나 해당 프로그램에 참여할 수 있다. 이전에 해당 프로그램에 참여했던 학생들도 다시 지원할 수 있다. LG다문화학교는 초등학생 350명과 중학생 50명 등 총 400명을 선발할 예정이다.

참여 희망자는 LG다문화학교 홈페이지(https://lgglobalschool.co.kr/ko)에 접속해 회원가입을 하고 로그인을 한 후 지원 신청 버튼을 누르고 신청서와 자기소개서를 제출하면 된다.

교육은 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 확산 방지를 위해 온라인으로 진행된다.
