[Multi-culture News] 2022 Korean Food Video Contest: Cookbang and Mukbang Challenge

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Korean Food Promotion Institute will hold the 2022 Korean Food Video Contest until September 30. This contest is only open to people who have foreign nationality.

The contest is divided into two categories: 'Cooking video using kimchi and Korean sauce(Cookbang)' and 'Video of eating and enjoying Korean food (Mukbang)'. After the number of views and expert reviews, 76 excellent works are selected and a total prize of $106,000 is awarded.

Any foreign national residing in Korea or abroad can participate. If there are more than 500 subscribers to your social media account, you can apply for Group A, and if there are less than 500, you can apply for Group B.

The winner of Cookbang and Mukbang in Group A will receive $7,000 and $6,000 respectively. If selected as 1st place in Group B, the winners of Cookbang will receive $3,000 and the winner of Mukbang will receive $2,500

Participants can apply on the official website of the Korean Food Promotion Institute(www.playkoreanfood.com). They need to upload a video of 30 minutes or less on the official website of the contest and your account on YouTube channel or Instagram account.

[다문화뉴스] 제3회 외국인 한식 영상 공모전 내달 30일까지 작품 접수…총 상금 10만6천달러

농림축산식품부와 한식진흥원은 다음 달 30일까지 '제3회 외국인 대상 한식 영상 공모전'을 진행한다.

해당 공모전은 '김치와 장(醬)을 활용한 요리 영상(이하 쿡방)'과 '한식을 먹고 즐기는 영상(이하 먹방)' 두 개 분야로 구분한다. 조회 수 및 전문가 심사를 거쳐 우수작 76점을 선정해 총상금 10만6천 달러를 지급한다.

국내·외 거주 외국 국적자라면 누구나 참여 가능하다 자신의 소셜미디어 계정을 구독하는 인원이 500명 이상이면 A그룹, 미만이면 B그룹으로 신청하면 된다.

1등인 대상에 선정되면 A그룹은 쿡방 7천 달러, 먹방 6천 달러를, B그룹은 쿡방 3천 달러, 먹방 2천500 달러의 상금을 각각 받을 수 있다.

참가 신청은 한식 진흥원 홈페이지(www.playkoreanfood.com)에서 가능하며, 주제에 맞게 30분 이내의 영상을 공모전 공식 누리집과 본인 계정 유튜브(Youtube) 또는 인스타그램(Instagram)에 등록하면 된다.
