[Multi-culture News] 3 fine-casual restaurants in Bupyeong recommended by Incheon Tourism Organization

According to the announcement of the National Statistical Office on the 26th of October, the rate of increase in the price of eating out food in September was 9.0%, the highest in 30 years and 2 months since July 1992.

As of October 2022, the average price of Jajangmyeon sold in Incheon was 6,000 won, up 10.7% from the average cost of 5,417 won a year ago. The average price of Kalguksu was 7,917 won, up 1,000 won from the same period last year. And the average cost of Kimbap, a representative convenience food, was 2,833 won, up about 13% from last year. These days, we are experiencing 'Price Phobia'. In response, Incheon Tourism Organization introduced three restaurants in Bupyeong with good cost-effectiveness for consumers.

① Wonjo Gohyang Son Kalguksu (원조고향손칼국수)

The first recommended restaurant is Wonjo Gohyang Son Kalguksu (원조고향손칼국수) located near Exit 2 of Bupyeong Market Station. The representative menu here is Kalguksu and Sujebi made with anchovy broth. The price per dish is 5,500 won, and you only need to pay an additional 1,500 won for extra noodles. Business hours are from 10 am to 8:30 pm.

② Sooki’s Jeonjip (숙이네 전집)

The second recommended restaurant is Sooki’s Jeonjip(숙이네 전집) located inside the market. A unique feature of this restaurant is that it does not heat the pre-baked pancakes, but starts cooking them at the same time you order. They sell Kimchi Jeon, Buchu Jeon, and Jang Tteok, and you can purchase them for 2,000 won per sheet regardless of the menu. Business hours are from 8 am to 7 pm.

③ Jinju Mandu (진주 만두)

The last restaurant to introduce is Jinju Mandu(진주 만두) located in Bupyeong Market. The representative menu is Meat-Vegetable Dumplings. The selling price per dish is 3,500 won. Business hours are from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, the same as the business hours of Bupyeong General Market.

지난달 26일, 통계청의 발표에 따르면 9월 외식물가 상승률은 9.0%로 1992년 7월(9.0%) 이후 30년 2개월 만에 최고치를 기록했다. 올해 10월 기준 인천 지역에서 판매되는 짜장면의 평균 가격은 6천원으로 1년 전 평균 가격인 5천417원 비해 10.7% 올랐고 칼국수 평균 가격도 7천917원으로 지난해 동기 대비 1천원 상승했다. 대표적인 간편식 김밥의 평균 가격도 2천833원으로 지난해 보다 약 13% 올랐다. ’물가 공포‘를 체감하는 요즘이다. 이에 인천관광공사는 인천 지역 소비자들을 위해 ’가성비 좋은 부평 맛집 3곳‘을 소개했다.

① 원조고향손칼국수

첫 번째 추천 맛집는 부평시장역 2번 출구 인근에 위치한 ‘원조고향손칼국수’다. 이 곳의 대표 메뉴는 멸치 육수로 끓여낸 칼국수와 수제비다. 1인분 가격은 5천500원이고 곱빼기는 1천500원만 더 지불하면 된다. 영업시간은 오전 10시부터 오후 8시 30분까지이다.

② 숙이네 전집

두 번째 추천 맛집은 시장 안에 위치한 ‘숙이네 전집’이다. 이미 구워져 있는 전을 데워 주는 것이 아니라 주문과 동시에 조리에 들어가는 것이 이가게 만의 특징이다. 김치전, 부추전, 장떡을 판매하고 있으며 메뉴 상관없이 한 장당 2천원에 구매할 수 있다. 영업시간은 오전 8시부터 오후 7시까지이다.

③ 진주만두

마지막으로 소개할 맛집은 부평시장 내에 자리하고 있는 ‘진주만두’이다. 대표 메뉴는 야채고기만두이다. 1인분 판매 가격은 3천500원이다. 영업시간은 부평종합시장 영업시간과 동일한 오전 7시부터 오후 8시까지이다.
