[Multi-culture News] SGYDC recruits immigrant students who want to learn the Korean language for acquiring grades of TOPIKⅡ

SGYDC(Suwon Global Youth Dream Center) with the support of Gyeonggi-do and Suwon-si, is operating the '2022 83rd TOPIKⅡ Preparation Class' to support immigrant children's adaptation to Korean society. SGYDC plans to recruit participants by the 30th of April.

TOPIK is a Korean language proficiency test for non-native speakers of Korean.

The ‘TOPIK II Preparation Class’, which will be operated by SGYDC, is designed with the goal of helping immigrant children to gain confidence in the Korean language by acquiring TOPIK certification. Furthermore, it immigrant adolescents to freely speak Korean so that their Korean language skills do not become an obstacle to getting an education or finding a job in Korea.

Applicants must be 14 years of age or older and wish to obtain the TOPIK level. Classes will be held 3 times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from the 4th of April to the 6th of July in preparation for the exam to be held on July 10th, and the class time is from 3 pm to 5 pm.

[다문화뉴스] 수원시글로벌청소년드림센터, TOPIKⅡ 대비반 참가 희망 중도입국 학생 모집

수원시글로벌청소년드림센터(이하 센터)가 경기도와 수원시의 지원을 받아 중도입국자녀 한국사회 적응 지원을 위한 ‘2022년 제83회 한국어 TOPIKⅡ 대비반’을 운영한다. 센터는 다음달 30일까지 이용자를 모집할 예정이다.

토픽(TOPIK)은 한국어를 모국어로 하지 않는 사람들을 대상으로 한 한국어능력시험이다.

센터가 운영하게 될 ‘한국어TOPIKⅡ 대비반’은 중도입국 청소년들이 TOPIK 자격증 취득을 통해 한국어에 대한 자신감을 갖도록 하는 것을 목표로 기획됐다. 또한 중도입국 청소년들이 한국어를 자유롭게 구사함으로써 한국에서 교육을 받거나 취업을 하는 데 있어 그들의 한국어 능력이 장애물이 되지 않도록 돕는다.

신청 자격은 TOPIK 급수취득을 희망하는 14세이상 이주배경청소년이다. 수업은 7월 10일에 치뤄질 시험에 대비해 다음달 4일부터 7월 6일까지 매주 월, 화, 수 주 3회에 걸쳐 진행될 예정이며 수업 시간은 오후 3시부터 5시까지이다.
