[Multi-culture News] Get discount coupons for accommodation and enjoy the travel in Korea

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 4th of April that they will start issuing discount coupons for domestic accommodations from 10 am on the 7th to help the tourism industry in crisis due to Corona 19 and to comfort the people who are exhausted physically and mentally.

A total of 1 million coupons will be issued. If the accommodation cost is less than 70,000 won, you can use the 20,000 won coupon, and if the accommodation cost exceeds 70,000 won, you can use the 30,000 won coupon.

Accommodations people can make reservations with the discount coupons are facilities located in Korea such as hotels, condos, resorts, pensions, rural guesthouses, and motels. It cannot be used for unregistered lodging facilities and rental rooms. The issuance period is until May 8, but on a first-come, first-served basis, it will close early when 1 million copies are exhausted. Coupons can be received once per person.

The target audience for participation is all citizens who can verify their identity with a mobile phone. Foreigners who have an alien registration number and can verify themselves by mobile phone can apply.

To use the coupon, you must make a reservation and payment for the accommodation along with the coupon issuance from 10 am to 7 am the next day, valid every day. If the reservation and payment are not made within the time limit or if the reservation is canceled, the issued coupon will automatically expire. If the coupon quantity remains, it can be reissued at the next valid time. Reservations can be made until June 6th.

[다문화뉴스] ”숙박업소 할인권 받고 알뜰하게 국내여행 하세요“

문화체육관광부와 한국관광공사는 코로나19로 인해 경영 위기에 처한 관광업계를 돕고 심신이 지친 국민들을 위로하기 위해 국내 숙박 할인쿠폰 발급을 오는 7일 오전 10시부터 개시한다고 4일 밝혔다.

발급될 쿠폰 수량은 총 100만 장이다. 숙박비가 7만 원 이하면 2만 원 권 쿠폰을, 7만 원을 초과하면 3만 원 권 쿠폰을 사용할 수 있다.

할인 적용 시설은 호텔, 콘도, 리조트, 펜션, 농어촌민박, 모텔 등 국내 숙박시설이다. 미등록 숙박시설과 대실 용도로는 사용할 수 없다. 발급 기간은 5월 8일까지이지만 선착순으로 100만 장이 소진되면 조기 마감된다. 쿠폰은 1인당 1회 받을 수 있다.

참여 가능 대상은 휴대전화로 본인 인증이 가능한 모든 국민이다. 외국인 등록번호를 가지고 있으며 휴대전화로 본인 인증을 할 수 있는 외국인도 신청 가능하다.

쿠폰을 사용하려면 매일 유효시간인 오전 10시부터 다음날 오전 7시까지 쿠폰 발급과 함께 숙박 예약 및 결제를 해야 한다. 시간 내 예약과 결제를 안 했거나 예약을 취소하면 발급된 쿠폰은 자동 소멸된다. 쿠폰 수량이 남아 있을 경우 다음 유효시간에 재발급 받을 수 있다. 예약할 수 있는 숙박 기간은 6월 6일까지다.
