[Multi-culture News] The Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange recruits foreign members of the 2023 Global Cultural Ambassador

The Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange is recruiting foreign members of the 2023 Global Cultural Ambassador named Outlookie until the 7th of May.

Outlookie is a group where foreign students gather to experience Korean culture and inform people worldwide by creating content including Korean culture. The Outlookie members will serve for about six months.

The main activities are to experience and learn Korean culture such as Samulnori, Talchum, Taekwondo, K-pop dance, and Musicals, and to create a group with mentors to promote Korean culture.

Any international student who is enrolled in a university or graduate school in Korea and is interested in Korean culture can apply. However, since all programs are operated in Korean, a certain level of Korean proficiency is required.

The number of members who will be selected is about 80.

To apply, students can access the Google form posted on the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange website(https://bit.ly/3NiO2Rp), scan the QR code on the promotional poster, and then fill out and submit the application form.

[다문화뉴스] 한국국제문화교류진흥원 ‘2023 글로벌 문화기획단 아우르기’ 외국인 유학생 단원 모집

한국국제문화교류진흥원이 다음달 7일까지 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 ‘2023 글로벌 문화기획단 아우르기’ 단원을 모집한다.

‘아우르기’는 외국인 유학생이 모여 한국문화를 체험하고 한국문화의 매력을 콘텐츠로 기획해 전 세계인에게 알리는 등 약 6개월간 ‘민간 문화대사’ 역할을 수행하는 문화기획단 활동이다.

주요 활동 내용은 사물놀이·탈춤·태권무·k-pop 댄스·한국창작뮤지컬 등 5개의 한국문화 분야 중 각 1개 분야의 공연 및 멘토링을 경험하고 전문 멘토단과 함께 문화기획을 해보는 것이다.

국내 대학 또는 대학원에 재학 중이고 한국문화에 관심이 많은 외국인 유학생은 누구나 지원 가능하다. 다만 프로그램이 모두 한국어로 운영되기 때문에 원활한 의사소통을 위해 일정 수준 이상의 한국어 구사 능력이 필요하다.

모집 인원은 약 80명이고 문화 분야 관련 공연·활동 유경험자 및 sns 활동이 활발한 자를 우대 선발한다.

지원은 한국국제문화교류진흥원 홈페이지(https://bit.ly/3NiO2Rp)에 게재된 구글폼 주소 혹은 홍보 포스터의 QR코드 스캔을 통해 구글폼에 접속한 후 참가신청서를 한국어로 작성해 제출하면 된다.

지원서 작성 시 사물놀이·탈춤·태권무·k-pop 댄스·한국창작뮤지컬 등 5개의 한국문화 분야 중 참여를 희망하는 1지망과 2지망, 3지망 분야를 선택할 수 있다.

한편, 아우르기는 2015년 활동 시작 이후 지금까지 총 42개국 720여 명 이상의 외국인 유학생이 참여해 한국문화를 학습하고 유학생 간 활발한 교류를 진행해왔다.
