Pocheon City is recruiting 166 foreign laborers who need to get additional points offered by Gyeonggi-do for conversion to a foreign skilled worker visa (E-7-4) by the 20th of next month.

This recruitment is being conducted in accordance with the Ministry of Justice’s new establishment of the ‘Metropolitan Local Government Recommendation Quota’.

When a foreigner (employer, etc.) who meets the criteria applies to Pocheon City with the recommendation of the employer, Pocheon City recommends the applicant to Gyeonggi-do, and Gyeonggi-do gives the applicant 30 points and makes a final recommendation to the Ministry of Justice.

The recommendation criteria presented by Pocheon City are: ▶Those who have stayed in the country for more than 4 years with an E-9, E-10, or H-2 visas ▶Those who have an annual salary of 26 million won or more (25 million won in the agricultural and livestock industry) at their current workplace ▶Those with an average income of 25 million won or more for 2 years ▶Those with Korean language skills above a certain level (TOPIK level 2 or higher) ▶Those who have been recommended by a company in Pocheon City where they are currently working for more than 1 year ▶E-7-4 conversion Those who meet the conditions for staying in Gyeonggi-do for more than 2 years ▶Those who have a total score of 170 to 199 on the K-point E-7-4 self-examination system.

Applications will be accepted until the 20th of December. Foreign laborers can apply by filling out the submission form posted on the notice board on the Pocheon City Hall website (www.pocheon.go.kr) and visiting the Corporate Support Department or emailing (pksm2021@korea.kr).

포천시가 다음달 20일까지 외국인 숙련기능 인력비자(E-7-4) 전환을 위한 경기도 가점 추천 대상자 166명을 모집한다.

이번 외국인 숙련기능 인력비자(E74) 경기도 가점 추천 모집은 법무부의 ‘광역지자체 추천 쿼터’ 신설에 따라 진행됐다.

기준을 충족하는 외국인(고용주 등)이 고용주의 추천을 받아 포천시로 신청하면 포천시는 대상자를 경기도에 추천하고 경기도는 대상자에게 30점 가점을 부여해 법무부로 최종 추천하는 방식으로 진행된다.

포천시가 제시한 추천 기준은 ▶E-9·E-10·H-2 자격으로 4년 이상 현재 국내 체류한 자 ▶현재 근무처에서 연봉 2천600만 원(농축산업 2천500만 원) 이상인 자 ▶2년간 평균소득이 2천500만 원 이상인 자 ▶ 한국어 능력이 일정 수준 이상(TOPIK 2급 이상)인 자 ▶현재 1년 이상 근무 중인 포천시 내 기업의 추천을 받은 자 ▶E-7-4 전환 후 2년 이상 경기도 내에 체류 조건인 자 ▶K-point E-7-4 점수제 자체 심사표 총점이 170~199점에 해당하는 자 등이다.

접수는 12월 20일까지 진행된다. 포천시청 홈페이지(www.pocheon.go.kr) 고시 공고 게시판에 게재된 제출 서식을 작성해 기업지원과로 방문 또는 전자우편(pksm2021@korea.kr)으로 신청하면 된다.
